Dr. Dmytro Gnativ is a distinguished flutist and educator offering expert flute instruction in South Florida. He serves on the Executive Board of the Miami Music Teachers Association, teaches at Musicall, Inc., where he coordinates its after-school music program and maintains a thriving private flute studio, welcoming students of all ages and skill levels.
 

In addition to performing solo recitals across the country, Dr. Gnativ is an active performer in South Florida. He serves as Principal Flute of the Florida Chamber Orchestra and appears regularly with the Palm Beach Symphony, Palm Beach Opera, Opera Naples, The Symphonia, and other ensembles.

Originally from Ukraine, Dr. Dmytro Gnativ is deeply committed to enriching the classical music landscape. Through solo and lecture-recitals across the country, he champions lesser-known works, particularly by Ukrainian composers, and brings fresh repertoire to flutists nationwide. His recent publication, An Anthology of Flute Music by Ukrainian Composers, 1850–2022, unveils over 400 previously undiscovered pieces. As Artistic Director of the Ukrainian Classical Music Project, he continues to lead initiatives that celebrate and promote Ukrainian music within the multicultural fabric of the United States.
