Bohdana Frolyak

Bio

Bohdana Frolyak was born in Vydyniv, Ukraine is a famous Ukrainian composer, teacher, and social activist. Her first music education was from music teacher Vasyl Kuflyuk in her home village. After finishing her studies at the Krushelnytska Lviv Secondary Specialized Music Boarding School, she continued her compositional studies under Volodymyr Flys and Myroslav Skoryk at the Lviv State Conservatory (now Lviv National Music Academy). Since 1991, she has been a composition faculty member at the same school.
Her artistic output mainly consists of various chamber compositions and orchestral scores such as symphonies, concertos, partitas, and suites.
