Volodymyr Runchak

Bio

Volodymyr Runchak was born in Lutsk, Ukraine. Runchak is a composer, conductor, and laureate of many international composition competitions. His works have been performed in New York, Paris, Munich, Kharkiv, Lutsk, and Kyiv. Runchak positions himself as an advocate of modern art music. He is the artistic director of the International All Ukrainian Music Festival, “Ukrainian Day of the Accordion,” and the International Festival of New Music, “Kharkiv Contemporary.”
